ManagiDiTH Applicant and Student Profiles 2024: A Truly International Cohort! 

We’re excited to share some insights into the diverse and talented pool of both applicants and admitted students that we have for the first cohort of the ManagiDiTH programme. This EU-funded initiative has attracted students from across Europe, and the numbers speak for themselves!

Applicant profiles

Starting off with the Applicant Profiles from the first, second, and third application periods from 2024. A diverse group of applicants applied to the ManagiDiTH masters programme. Here are a few highlights:

Applicant Countries of Residence

With a great mix of countries represented in the application phase, totaling 17 different European countries. Here are some of the most represented countries:

Germany, Portugal, Finland, Greece and Switzerland.

Experience Levels
  • 84% of admitted students have 2+ years of professional experience 
  • 16% with less than 2 years of experience
 
This numbers represent a dynamic mix of applicants, with both applicants starting out on their journey in digital health as well as applicants ready for a new direction in their ongoing career. The ManagiDiTH programme is suitable for all interested in furthering their career or starting something new in an ever-growing branch of health care.

Admitted students profiles

With a total number of 187 admitted students in the first cohort of the master’s programme we see a highly skilled group, in varying ages, and genders, take on the challenges of advancements in digital health care.

Student Demographics:
  • 67 % of students are between 31-50 years old
  • 28 % are aged 30 or younger
  • 5 % are 50+
These numbers show a highly inclusive cohort with a strong representation of mid-career professionals that have an interest for knowledge advancement!
 
Academic Backgrounds:
  • 81 Bachelor’s degree holders (EQF Level 6)
  • 94 Master’s degree holders (EQF Level 7)
  • 12 Doctoral degree holders (EQF Level 8
 

This applicant pool demonstrates a fantastic blend of backgrounds, experiences, and insights, setting the stage for rich collaboration in tackling digital transformation in the health sector.
