Who we are

ManagiDiTH – Master’s Degree of Managing Digital Transformation in the Health Sector project is funded under EC Grant Agreement 101083896. The project began in January 2023 and ends in January 2027. We are responsible for the collection and use of your data as described in this privacy policy. In some cases, for example if you click a link and leave managidith.eu website, third parties may also process your personal data. In these cases, the privacy policies of these third parties apply.

 

What data do we collect?

We collect following data:

  • Personal identification information: we collect personal data, such as name, email and other contact details, when you voluntarily submit them for example through our contact form, when you subscribe to our newsletter or when you register for our events.
  • Usage data: we gather non-personal technical data, such as your IP address, browser type, length of your visit, page views and pages you visit and the source for this information is this website’s analytics tool. Cookie Policy.

Most of the data collected is provided by you. We collect and use personal data when you:

  • Communicate with us through contact form, email or other digital communication channel
  • Send us email
  • Register for our events
  • Subscribe to our newsletter

How will we use your data

We use your data in the following ways:

  • Personal identification information: we use your personal information (contact information), which you have provided us, to communicate with you, provide requested services, to send you newsletters, for organizing events and to make our website available to you
  • Usage data: we collected non-personal usage data to understand user preferences, to improve user experience and website performance

 

With whom do we share your data

We do not share your personal data with anyone other than the persons and partners involved in this project, if they are needed to fulfil the purpose of processing the necessary information, for example when taking part in events organized by partner universities.

Personal data will not be transferred outside the EU or EEA countries.  

ManagiDiTH is a project funded by the European Commission, meaning that it is a possible that another (consortium of) partner(s) will take over it in the future as a result of a new funding round. In that case, your personal data may be transferred to the new (consortium of) partner(s) in order to ensure the continuity of the ManagiDiTH project and after you have been informed thereof.

 

How long do we keep your personal data

Your personal data will only be processed for the duration of the project (4 years) to achieve the purposes described above or, when we have asked you for your consent, until you withdraw your consent. As a general rule, we will de-identify your personal data when it is no longer needed for the purposes described above or when the maximum legal retention period has expired. However, we cannot delete your personal data if there is a legal or regulatory obligation or a court or administrative order preventing us from doing so.

We retain all personal data collected through our website for as long as necessary to protect the legitimate interests stated above. We retain technical information such as our server log files until 6 months after your visit to our website, after which it will be deleted or de-identified. We retain all personal data related to an event until 2 years after the event.

All personal data we collect through our interactions with you through telephone, email or other digital communication channels will be retained for as long as necessary to communicate with you, but also to maintain a historical record of our communications. This allows us to return to previous communications when you come back to us with new questions, requests, comments or other input.

 

How do we keep your personal data secure

The security and confidentiality of the personal data we process is very important to us. That is why we have taken measures to ensure that all personal data processed is kept secure. These measures include technical and organizational measures to protect our infrastructure, systems, applications, and processes. We’ve also taken other measures, such as taking internal policy measures, limiting the processing to the personal data necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes and minimizing the processing of personal data.

Personal data is processed on the following basis in accordance with Article 6 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation

  • Consent of data subject: you directly provide us with your personal data, for example when you contact us through the contact form or subscribe to our newsletter.
  • Legitimate interest: when you take part in our events.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access and rectify your personal data, as well as erase, restrict, object and limit the processing of your personal data. If you wish to exercise your rights, please contact us by sending us an email to info@managidith.eu.

You can withdraw your consent and request the erasure of your consent-based data by contacting the contact person mentioned above. 

You can obtain information about whether your personal data is processed, and which personal data is processed. If there are any inaccuracies or errors in the processing of your personal data, you have the right to request your personal data to be rectified or supplemented. 

You can restrict the processing of your personal data in certain situations, such as if you deny the accuracy of your personal data. 

You can file a complaint with the data protection authority if you believe that your personal data has been processed in violation of data protection legislation.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy on our own initiative. If material changes to this privacy policy affect the personal data collected, we will notify you in a manner customary for us to communicate with you (e.g., by email or via a message on our website).
